How Big are Bastian, Sophie, and Bella? SO BIG!
I know most of you would prefer seeing current pics of these kids, but come on, won't your day smile a little brighter having seen these shots from last January??

Of all the Doors in all the House
I guess this is my homage to Casablanca. I now know what Humphrey Bogart's character felt when he said "Of all the gin joints in all the world ... you had to walk into mine" to Ingrid Bergman. Why, you wonder. Well, my kids are opening doors now. And wouldn't ya know it, but they're opening the door to the forbidden upstairs. I mean it's not forbidden as in there's something bad up there like in Jane Eyre. Tim's not hiding another wife or anything like that. But there's just a lot of stuff up there, things that little fingers could get into mischief exploring. So, just as meaningful as Bogart's line in Casablanca, I say "Of all the doors in all the house, you had to open this one??"

Where are they RIGHT now?
Bastian is sitting on my lap with a tray of play food. The girls are in a crib together with books, blankets, and magnedoodles. They asked to go in there a half hour ago and when I check on them about every 10 minutes to see if they want to get out, they cheerfully say "NO!"

Table for 3, Please
Here are our little tykes sitting at their table (Thank you so much, Cheri!!!!) A few observations for you:
1)Wow. Bastian's hair looks so much better now that we cut it!!! I cannot believe I'm going to admit this, but he looks like my third little girl here. :-(
2)They are so cute sitting at this table eating. But you already observed that. :-)
3)Not an observation but a cutable quote for you. Bella said today "Bella ripped the doggie book. I's a bad girl."

Worth Waiting For
Ok, so it's late in the day, I know. But these are definitely worth waiting for. Notice anything different about our little boy? Excuse me, our little man? He got a BIG haircut!! Yeah, his bangs are a little crooked ... still ... but he looks stinkin' cute!!! Anyway, we couldn't resist getting pics of the three of our adorable tykes fresh out of the bath and ready for bed. And would ya believe it but all 3 were in a cooperative, cheesy grin flashing mood!! Enjoy!! I know we did :-)

Readin' Fools
We're back in our reading phase and in a big way! The newest reading development is that our kids read to us now. We have a snowman book ("Frosty Book") that Sophie will read. It goes something like this "Snowin', snowin' snowin'. Umm hmm, snowin'. Turn page. Snowin', snowin', snowin'. " It's a great book with very little plot. A nice little read after a long day!
Here the girls are reading their books after getting up from a nap. Bastian was still sleeping, so we came downstairs for a little while.
